<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved thermally recovering process having high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The method for thermally recovering natural gas and bitumen from the underground structure containing bitumen, comprises a series of technologies which are newly combined while involving existing technologies. In SAGD recovering operation, a modified flue gas supplied with the use of a conventional vaporizer, is jetted into the structure so as to facilitate the recovery of the generated fluid. The fluid such as natural gas, bitumen, etc., are further treated. When the natural gas is used up, the pressure in the underground structure becomes a reduced condition, then the flue gas is jetted for re-pressurization thereof.
