<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of setting a correction value which improves the precision of the correction value to be set. <P>SOLUTION: When the correction value for a density (objective density) is set, a high-side density higher than the density and a low-side density lower than the density to be referred to according to measured values of regions printed by the density are specified respectively arbitrarily. The correction value for the density is set by using at least one of a measured density value of a region printed by the arbitrarily specified high-side density, and a measured density value of a region printed by the arbitrarily specified low-side density. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
