<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance volume efficiency of a vane pump, by reducing clearance between a cover and a cam ring. <P>SOLUTION: This vane pump has a pressure loading mechanism for pressing a side plate to the cover via a rotor and the cam ring 4 by working fluid pressure. A projection part 41 extending along a side surface of the cover when stopping operation and a recessed part 42 extending along the cover deformed in the operation, are formed on a side surface opposed to the cover of the cam ring 4, to reduce the clearance between the cover and the cam ring 4 deformed by receiving driving force and the working fluid pressure of the pressure loading mechanism in the operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
