<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily confirm a classification result even if classification results of display information such as image data are spread over a wide range. <P>SOLUTION: A display image corresponding to image data stored on a recording medium 1 is displayed on a display screen of an LCD 8 by the control of a control unit 5. In such a case, the display image is scrolled by the control unit 5 at a scrolling speed corresponding to the amount or a file capacity of image data classified so as to belong to a fixed period of time.
