<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely fix an optical fiber cable to an excessive-length processing device, etc., without affecting the transmission characteristics of a coated optical fiber. <P>SOLUTION: A guide trench 22 in which a coated optical fiber 2 is contained is formed on the base 12 of a fixture body 100 from one end to another end. A plurality of first engaging protrusions 24 are formed at an interval at both sides of the guide trench 22 along the direction of the trench. These first engaging protrusions 24 are brought into contact with the inner peripheral sides of curved parts of respective tension members 4 which are curved in the shape of meandering by being separated from an coated optical fiber 2 from the separation portion 8 of an optical fiber cable 6 and which are embedded on the base 12 of the fixture body 100.
