<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifrequency antenna which is incorporated in an information terminal such as a personal computer or a PDA , and is sufficient in bandwidth, excellent in communication sensitivity, small in size and simple in structure. <P>SOLUTION: The multifrequency antenna is configured so that a projection part (2) is provided to a connection point between a low frequency side radiation element part (1b) including a feeding point (P1) and a high frequency side radiation element section (1a) in parallel with the low frequency side radiation element part (1b), a ground plate (4) including an earth point (P2) is connected to the other end of the high frequency side radiation element section (1a) via a short-circuit part (3), a slit S is formed between the short-circuit part (3) and the ground plate (4), and the multifrequency antenna has a resonance point in the vicinity of a maximum resonance point. Further, a feeding coaxial cable (5) is connected to the feeding point (P1) at the end of the high frequency side radiation element section (1a) and the earth point (P2) at an edge part (4a) of the ground plate (4) while including the slit (S) between the short-circuit part (3) and the ground plate (4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
