<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basal metabolism quantity measuring system which can easily measure the basal metabolism quantity of a woman in the lactation while taking an individual difference under consideration. <P>SOLUTION: This basal metabolism quantity measuring system is equipped with an age data acquiring means for a person to be measured, a removed body fat quantity data acquiring means, and a basal metabolism quantity data calculating means which performs a calculation based on the removed body fat quantity data and the age data. The basal metabolism quantity measuring system is also equipped with a body weight variation quantity data acquiring means for before and after the nursing when the person to be measured is in the lactation, a milk discharging quantity data calculating means for breast milk per day based on the body weight variation quantity data, and a milk discharging metabolism quantity data calculating means which calculates energy quantity data being metabolized for producing breast milk. The basal metabolism quantity data calculating means makes the data, which is acquired by adding the energy quantity data being metabolized for producing breast milk, to the basal metabolism quantity data of the person to be measured, which is calculated from the removed body fat quantity data and the age data, the basal metabolism quantity data of the person to be measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
