<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display image data seamlessly without causing noise and image disturbance in switching 2K and 4K in decoding processing of compressed image data that are compliance with JPEG2000. <P>SOLUTION: This image signal decoding device 1 is provided with a high resolution decoder 3 for fixedly decoding 4K standard data in compressed image data that are compliance with JPEG-2000 Part 1, a low resolution decoder 4 for fixedly decoding 2K standard data, one-frame buffers 5 and 6 capable of temporarily storing image data at least for one frame, and a switch SW 7 for switching 4K image data and 2K image data, and selectively outputs any of the 4K image data, the 2K image data or image data prepared in advance in accordance with information showing a frame state, such as resolution information of a frame described in a packet header HD part and error information ERR when the frame is decoded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
