<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail with a chair, installing a handrail only on the floor surface and housing a seating surface during non-use of a chair part. <P>SOLUTION: This handrail with a chair includes: a handrail coping provided extending over the upper ends of two or more struts erected on the floor surface, a connecting rod provided on the lower stages of the struts; and a seating surface, the base end of which is rotatably provided on the connecting rod, wherein the seating surface can be in the horizontal state, and the tip can be turned upward from the horizontal state. The seating surface is put in the horizontal state, so that the seating surface can be used as a chair, and during non-use of the seating surface, it takes a vertical housing attitude to attain the excellent housing efficiency. The base ends of support legs are rotatably provided on the tip part of back of the seating surface, whereby when the seating surface is made horizontal, the support legs are abutted on the floor surface to support the seating surface, so that when a user is seated on the seating surface, the body weight can be supported by the floor surface through the support legs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
