PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a conveying device which conveys koji (malted rice) adhered with spores form a koji preparing device to a succeeding process, especially an effective conveying device used in a production line of soy sauce in which spores are adhered in a koji production process. SOLUTION: The conveying device for koji preventing scattering of spores is constituted by bringing the conveying device to be a closed type screw conveyor 9, installing a nozzle 12 for spraying a liquid in the casing of the closed type screw conveyor 9 and attaching agitation blades to the screw 11 of the screw conveyor 9 to have a structure in which koji 2 and the liquid are simultaneously conveyed and sufficiently agitated in conveying the koji 2 adhered with spores from the koji preparing device 1 to the succeeding process.
