PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for displaying a video by which a plurality of pictures are simultaneously displayed even when a mode is changed from a half screen mode to a full screen mode or when the mode is changed from the full screen mode to the half screen mode. SOLUTION: A plurality of video display parts are always updated by inputting switching information (a display state) as information common to the plurality of video display parts in a shared memory according to a switching signal of a display mode such as an operation of a user. The plurality of video display parts periodically acquire information on the display state whether the current mode is a normal display mode or a full screen display mode in the shared memory.
