PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared ray detector for detecting infrared ray radiated from a detected object with high accuracy and high sensitivity. SOLUTION: The infrared ray detector comprises a printed board having an external terminal and a conductor circuit pattern, an infrared ray sensor connected to the conductor circuit pattern of the printed board, and a holder having a light guiding section for making the infrared ray radiation radiated from the detected object come into a light receiving window face of the infrared ray sensor.
