PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device with a rotating shaft in which bidirectional axial load occurs and a rolling bearing for supporting the rotating shaft, having a smaller size and higher mechanical efficiency resulting in more efficient work for assembling the rolling bearing. SOLUTION: The bearing device 10 comprises the rotating shaft 12 and an angular contact type rolling bearing 15 for rotatably supporting the rotating shaft 12. The rolling bearing 15 has an inner ring 22 which is formed with its axial end closed at its operation point and a closed portion 25 curved to be protruded outward in the axial direction.
