PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive agitation defoaming apparatus in which a measure for centrifugal force is taken satisfactorily and a power transmission mechanism is simplified. SOLUTION: When an electric motor 2 is driven, a rotary arm 4 is rotated by a revolving shaft 3 and consequently a vessel holder 7 is revolved around the revolving shaft 3. When an O-ring 10 fit to the vessel holder 7 is brought into contact with the tapered surface 13a of a ring member 13, the rotational force is given to the vessel holder 7 so that the vessel holder is rotated on its own shaft being a rotating shaft 5. Namely, the vessel holder 7 is moved as a revolving/rotating satellite. Since the vessel holder 7 is rotated while being revolved, the centrifugal force owing to the revolution and that owing to the rotation are exerted on a material inside a kneading vessel 6.
