PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit board which has a liquid crystal polymer as an insulator sheet and is excellent in durability with the embrittlement of a liquid crystal polymer film suppressed and a method for producing the circuit board. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the circuit board, out of the insulator sheets constituting the circuit board, the liquid crystal polymer film is used as at least one surface sheet. When the liquid polymer film is hot press-bonded, a porous fluorine-containing film is used as a mold releasing agent. The circuit board is produced by the method and is excellent in durability.
