The machine has a static frequency changer (2) for the control of a synchronous motor (1). Three cables are provided between the static frequency changer and the synchronous motor. An integrated star-triangle changeover is provided for driving process units e.g. format cylinder, of the synchronous motor. The star-triangle changeover is integrated in a terminal box of the synchronous motor.
