摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make unnecessary the warming up of a fuel cell after idle stop is released, to prevent water clogging caused by condensation of water vapor in the fuel cell during idle stop, to shorten the starting time at restarting, to shorten the output rise time of the fuel cell, and to prevent drop in fuel consuming performance. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 40 controls the whole of a fuel cell system 1, and when a required load becomes a prescribed value or less, if fuel cell temperature Tfc exceeds a first prescribed temperature T1, conducts the idle stop of the fuel cell 2. The fuel cell temperature is computed as a average value of coolant inlet temperature Ti and coolant outlet temperature To of the fuel cell 2. When the fuel cell temperature Tfc becomes less than a second prescribed value T2 (T2<T1) during the idle stop, operation is returned from the idle stop to idle power generation, electric power equivalent to the consumed power with auxiliaries (a hydrogen circulation pump, a compressor 16 and a coolant pump 37) is generated with the fuel cell 2 to prevent the temperature drop of the fuel cell 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
