<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific hepatitis C virus (HCV) RNA molecule that has raised efficiency for establishing the cell culture replication, and provide a method for testing the suppression of the HCV RNA replication using the RNA molecule that is useful for evaluating the latent inhibitor of the HCV replication. <P>SOLUTION: The HCV self-replicating polynucleotide molecule includes the G2042C/R mutation in the HCV unstructured area.
