PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system easily coping with the case in which a new content server is added. SOLUTION: The system is constituted by connecting at least one content server 1 having contents, a content management server 2 capable of acquiring the contents from the content server 1 and at least one information display device D receiving and displaying the contents distributed from the management server 2 via a network. The management server 2 comprises a format setting means setting and registering display formats for each display device D; a format conversion program 12 converting the contents received from the content server 1 in accordance with the display formats set to the display devices D for the information to be distributed; a content storage folder 33 storing the converted contents for each display device D; and a content distribution means 20a distributing the stored contents to the corresponding display devices D.
