PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor or the like drastically reducing a calculation amount while achieving ideal matching performance as thoroughly as possible. SOLUTION: In this image processor 1 extracting a desired pixel from a template by an extraction part 5 and performing matching processing, the template includes a fixed extraction pixel always extracted by the extraction part 5, a selective extraction pixel selectively extracted by the extraction part 5, and a non-extraction pixel excluded with the extraction by the extraction part 5. The image processor 1 has a calculation part 3 calculating a characteristic amount showing relation between two calculation target pixels positioned in a first direction in a view from a candidate pixel capable of being the selective extraction pixel, and relation between two calculation target pixels positioned in a second direction different from the first direction in the view from the candidate pixel by use of a prescribed arithmetic expression, and the extraction part 5 extracts the candidate pixel as the selective extraction pixel on the basis of a calculation result of the calculation part 3.
