PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight, compact and flexible organic actuator module which operates stably in a gas, such as atmosphere, and can be handled with safety. SOLUTION: The actuator module has such a structure as gas is sealed hermetically in a container, having an expansion member together with an organic actuator, a counter electrode, and electrolytic solution wherein opposite ends of the organic actuator are secured to the container, and only one end of the counter electrode is secured to the container.
