PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device on which the video in the line-of-sight direction of an observer is properly superimposed on a virtual space video and presented. SOLUTION: The image display device of this invention is provided with: a display section on which the video is displayed; a first mirror section which guides the video displayed on the display section to the eyeball of the observer; a first camera section by which the direction of the eyeball of the observer is photographed, to detect the line-of-sight direction of the observer; a second camera section whose optical axis coincides with that of the first camera section and by which the line-of-sight direction of the observer is photographed; and a computer terminal which is wiredly or wirelessly connected to the first camera section and the second camera section and combines the video in the line-of-sight direction of the observer photographed by the second camera section and virtual information. In addition, the video in the line-of-sight direction of the observer is superimposed on the virtual information and displayed on the display section by the computer terminal.
