PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that is concurrently equipped with a position measuring device of a retrieved object and a photographic device and can overlap-display an image photographed on a display and a pointer indicating the retrieved object, its method and the like. SOLUTION: The portable terminal device comprises the display, a photographing means for photographing a video projected on the display, a retrieved object position measuring means for measuring the arrival direction and distance of a response signal from the retrieved object, and a display control means that displays the video photographed by the photographic means on the display, determines whether the retrieved object is within the range of the video displayed on the display, and, when it is determined to be within the range, overlaps the video and the pointer indicating the retrieved object and displays them on the display.
