PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber packing having high limit of application at high temperatures and suitably used for, e.g. vulcanizer equipment. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises 100 pts.wt. ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated diene terpolymer containing 50-75 wt.% ethylene and 0.2-10 wt.% diene blended with 30-100 pts.wt. carbon black. The rubber packing is an organic peroxide-based crosslinked material of the rubber composition and has 65-80°rubber hardness (JIS-A), 200-500% elongation and 2-25% compression set.
