PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ester imide oligomer having excellent processibility such as solubility in an organic solvent and thermoplasticity, to provide thermally cured products thereof having both of sufficient tenacity and a high glass transition temperature, and to provide methods for producing the oligomer and the cured products. SOLUTION: The ester imide oligomer has a recurring unit represented by formula (2) (wherein, A is a divalent aromatic or aliphatic group) and the terminals thereof are sealed with a thermally crosslinkable group.
