PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implement for assisting packaging which lessens the kinds of parts, and which is easy in a construction and inexpensive. SOLUTION: The implement for assisting packaging is equipped with: a hopper for supplying a packaging item; and a lifting mechanism which makes this hopper move vertically. The hopper consists of: an annular ring, having a predetermined diameter; and a pair of a first and a second arms for turnably inserting and carrying a part of the outer periphery of this annular ring, the first arm is fixed on the lifting mechanism, the second arm is hung down, by preparing a falling regulation member and by facing the first arm, and when the first arm is pulled up by the lifting mechanism, the second arm is made to approach to the first arm, and the annular ring is made to be inserted into the bag mouth of a packing bag by, being made into a hang-down state, and then, when the hopper is made to lower by the lifting mechanism, the annular ring is made to be held in a horizontal state in the packaging bag, by stopping the fall-down of the second arm by the fall regulating member.
