A sheet printing press (100) has two printing stations (103, 104). Transport cylinders (29, 32) shift the sheets through the print stations. The counter-pressure cylinders (28, 33) are mechanically linked with each other. The cylinders (29, 32, 28, 33) are powered by two or more electric motors (1, 2, 7). At least two of the electric motors are electrically coupled with each other and draw their power from a common supply (3).
