<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a fuel cell automobile and improve safety in supplying fuel gas. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel filling unit, a reception part 22 for earth having wiring 52 for the earth to be connected is provided at the portion where a cabin door 14 in a closed state adjacently faces each other among a vehicle body 12. The front surface of the reception part 22 for the earth is covered with the cabin door 14. On the other hand, a reception part 18 for fuel having a nozzle 56 for fuel to be connected is provided at the other portion separated from the cabin door 14, and the front surface is covered with a lid 20 for fuel. Open/close status of the cabin door is detected by a door open/close sensor. Only when it is determined that the cabin door 14 is in an open state, the open operation of the lid 20 for fuel is permitted. When filling the fuel gas into a vehicle 10, the cabin door 14 is opened first and the wiring 52 for the earth is connected to the reception part 22 for the earth.
