<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method, an intermediate transfer recording medium and an image-formed object which are excellent in heat resistance of the thermally transferred images and also excellent in various durabilities. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method with a transfer part releasably provided on the base film consists of: (1) a process for preparing the intermediate transfer recording medium consisting at least of an optical diffraction structure and an image receiving layer in the transfer part, (2) a process for preparing the thermal transfer sheet with an adhesive layer, (3) a process for forming a thermally transferred image on the surface of the image receiving layer of the intermediate transfer recording medium using the thermal transfer coloring layer of the thermal transfer sheet with the adhesive layer, (4) a process for transfering the transfer part on which the thermal transfer image is formed to the body to be transferred, (5) a process for forming a heat adhesive layer by transferring the heat adhesive layer of the thermal transfer sheet with the adhesive layer onto the transfer part of the next screen of the screen used in (3) of the intermediate transfer recording medium, and (6) a process for transferring the transfer part of (5) where the heat adhesive layer is formed so as to cover the transfer part of (4) where the thermally transferred image is formed on the body to be transferred by way of the heat adhesive layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
