<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the cost of an organic EL display device by performing high-quality display by reducing a feeling of unevenness and eliminating the need for an external IC for driving. <P>SOLUTION: The electroluminescence display device according to present invention is a passive driving type which does not have a TFT for each pixel. Consequently, the numerical aperture of pixels is improved and thus the feeling of unevenness is reduced to perform the high-quality display. Further, various driving circuits such as a horizontal shift register 10, a data line driving circuit DLD, and a vertical shift register 20 are formed on the same glass substrate 51 together with a pixel region where an electroluminescence element is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
