<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical analysis inspection strip equipped with a metal electrode having heightened hydrophilicity. <P>SOLUTION: This electrochemical analysis inspection strip includes an electrical insulating substrate, and the metal electrode (for example, a gold electrode) provided on the surface of the electrical insulating substrate. The metal electrode has the upper surface equipped with a chemical component for heightening hydrophilicity.
