<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a member with an asymmetrical hat-shaped cross section, by which, even when the height difference between the right and left joints of a material to be rolled, a pair of joints are stably bent without generating bending in the material to be rolled in rough or intermediate grooved-rolling and without losing the attitude of the material of the intermediate cross section in finish grooved-rolling. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, the member with the asymmetrical hat-shaped cross section, which has, at the arm parts in its both sides, a pair of joints with cross section shapes asymmetrical to each other, is manufactured by rolling and bending a material 30 to be rolled using a series of grooves cut in the pair of rolls. A part or the whole of the series of grooves except for the finishing grooves, which finally form the member with the asymmetrical hat-shaped cross section, are made to be arm-inclining grooves K3, whose arm-reducing parts 104, 105 are inclined (gradient anglesθ<SB>A</SB>) in a direction different from that of the arm-reducing part of the above finishing grooves. After rolling the material 30 to be rolled with the arm-inclining grooves K3 into the material with the intermediate cross section, the pair of joints of the material with the intermediate cross section are bent with the finishing grooves to form the member with an asymmetrical hat-shaped cross section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
