<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel-type monitoring control system capable of updating the firmware of each of controllers, in a parallel-type monitoring control system which is composed of a plurality of the controllers, and also provide an update method of firmware of a parallel-type controller of the system. <P>SOLUTION: A firmware updating module 21 copies a first task stored in a first controller to a second controller designated in a task leveling table TB preliminarily downloaded from a software management station 4, makes the controllers to execute the first task and the copied task in parallel, confirms that an output difference of an input/output device 23 is within a prescribed permissible range in the same control cycle, makes the first task sleep, starts a second task, continues monitoring control by means of the second controller, and updates the firmware OS of the first controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
