PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device, etc. in which corrosion resistance, etc. of a testing terminal for testing goodness/badness of a display panel and a connection terminal can be improved. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device is constituted by bonding a color filter substrate and an element substrate 91 through a sealant. The element substrate 91 has a plurality of testing terminals 80, 81, 82, source lines 6, gate lines 3, the connection terminal 7, TFT elements, pixel electrodes and a driver IC 40, etc. The testing terminals 80, 81, 82 are electrically connected to the source lines 6, or the gate lines 3 or the counter electrode, respectively. Since the testing terminals 80, 81, 82 and the connection terminal 7 are disposed at locations where they overlap two-dimensionally with the driver IC 40 and at locations where they do not overlap with the plurality of input/output electrodes of the driver IC 40 and are covered with an anisotropic conductive film 9 that is provided at a lower part of the driver IC 40, they are protected in an overlapping manner by the hardened anisotropic conductive film 9 and the driver IC 40.
