PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a high quality oxide superconductive bulk material in which facet is finally grown can be produced by again treating a sample failed in the growth of the facet in a top seeding melt growth method. SOLUTION: The method is characterized in that a sample in which the facet is not formed by the top seeding melt growth method or a sample in such a state that the growth of the facet is stopped at a central part of a precursor although the growth of the facet has been initiated and the facet is not sufficiently grown is subjected to a stepwise temperature-lowering and constant-temperature treatment where the temperature in a crystal growth treatment is gradually lowered in a plurality of steps and is kept constant at each step.
