PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a recording method which has less influence on a recording medium after an image is formed, and rapidly performs fixing by a simple structure and quickly causes a recording liquid delivered on the recording medium to quickly permeate the recording medium, and a recording apparatus. SOLUTION: Permeation of an ink into the recording medium is accelerated by providing an ultrasonic wave generating apparatus as a drying means in the vicinity of the downstream side of a recording head in an inkjet recording apparatus, and applying a high frequency vibration by an ultrasonic wave on a paper just after the image is formed.
