PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landing net in which the length adjustment is readily and safely carried out according to fishing spots. SOLUTION: The landing net has a base section 5 and a joint structure of a handle in which a tip end section 7A positioned on tip side of the base section 5 is shaking-out type and the tip end section 7A is stored into the base section 5. The landing net has a butt stopper 10 provided so as to be longitudinally movable in the shaft direction in the rear of the base section 5 and the tip end section 7A stored in the base section 5 can be changed over to a retaining state and a freely fitting state to the base section 5 by longitudinal movement of the butt stopper 10.
