PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furrow-coating machine capable of making an adjusting work of an up and down position-adjusting mechanism equipped with a function of moderating a force acting on a crown-treating part, easy. SOLUTION: This furrow-coating machine is equipped with a crown-treating part for cutting down the upper part of an old furrow from its front side, a pre-treating part for cutting down the old furrow and performing soil-filling, and a furrow-regulating part for piling filled soil on the cut down old furrow. The top place-treating part is supported by the up and down position-adjusting device 80 equipped with a compression spring 81a. The up and down position-adjusting device 80 has a first supporting member 82 equipped with a buffering mechanism 81 for receiving the force acting to the crown-treating part by a constant elastic force of the compression spring 81a and a second supporting member 84 adjusted by its length against the force. The buffering mechanism 81 has a fulcrum member 32 for inserting the base end side of the first supporting member 82 as slidable and a compression spring 81a inserted in the first supporting member 82 and mounted between a projecting part 82c installed at the middle part of the first supporting member 82 and the fulcrum member 32.
