PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily execute a button command in the case of reproducing video data with highlights. SOLUTION: When the user analyzea highlight information included in video contents and when reaches the start time of a command validity term of the highlight information, an FL display tube is turned on or an icon or the like indicating that it is the command validity term is displayed on a monitor, thereby informing the user about that it is the command validity term.
