A fixed-position device (FPD) (22) prevents a movable piece of furniture (MPOF) like a drawer/door from being pushed out before loading an energy-storing device. The FPD has a first part fixed in relation to a piece of furniture and a second part that moves along a line compared to the first part. Both parts interlink in one section of the opening/closing path of the MPOF. An independent claim is also included for furniture with a push-out device.
