The ventilator unit (10) comprises a plastics support (12) with cylindrical seat (14) which holds an electric motor which drives the ventilator fan. A closure element (24) of elastic material is attached to the edge of the through opening which passes through the side wall of the seat. The closure element has two jaws (26,28) which are connected together for articulated movement and which have two edges (32, 34) which clamp the electric wires (18) leading to the motor between them.
