The immersion probe comprises a sleeve (1) which can take various shapes and be made of various materials e.g. plastic, and a temperature sensor (2) on or in the sleeve. When the fluid reaches a given temperature, the sensor activates a signal generator (3) arranged on or in the sleeve and this generates an acoustic or haptic or optical or olfactory signal.
