<p>A disc communication structure by which stable communication is made possible without limitation in transmission data speed and capacity. The disc communication structure is provided with a first optical means (13), which has an electronic circuit of a microcomputer or the like mounted thereon and is arranged on a disc (10) driven to rotate by a disc drive device; and a second optical means (21) arranged on a rotating axis of the disc (10), on an opposite side to the first optical means (13), on a fixing section (20) physically separated from the disc (10). Optical communication is performed between the first and the second optical means (13, 21).</p>
