<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planographic printing plate precursor capable of writing with an infrared laser, having high sensitivity and high printing durability, and capable of improving productivity in plate making work because resistance to adhesion between the image-recording layer side surface of the planographic printing plate precursor and the support side surface of an adjacent planographic printing plate precursor is improved even if the planographic printing plate precursors are stacked without interposing a slip sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The planographic printing plate precursor has on a support an image-recording layer containing an infrared ray absorbent, a polymerization initiator, a polymerizable compound and a thiol compound.
