<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for elevator boarding reservation capable of allowing a user having the boarding reservation to reliably and preferentially board an elevator. <P>SOLUTION: A user radio terminal 3 transmits a boarding reservation request to an elevator control device 1 via a radio station 5 and a network 6. Elevators 21-2n transmit elevator operation state information to the elevator control device 1, respectively, via an inter-elevator communication network 7 according to a request from the elevator control device 1. An elevator reservation management server 14 selects the elevator which has a space for boarding the user and is available earliest based on each received elevator operation state information. An elevator collective monitoring control device 12 transmits an instruction for changing the limit weight to the selected elevator via the inter-elevator communication network 7.
