PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding made from a fully intimate mixture of a thermosetting resin and an elasticized resin. SOLUTION: A method for producing a molding made from a vegetable fiber is provided which comprises the step of separately preparing a first vegetable fiber mixed with a thermosetting resin and a second vegetable fiber mixed with an elasticized resin and mixing the first vegetable fiber with the second vegetable fiber to prepare a preliminary molding material, and the step of preparing a molding by applying pressure to the preliminary molding material under heating.
