PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular incandescent lamp restrained from a probability of heat generation at power supply caused by mounting, prevented from a stress generated at a mounting part caused by turn-on and turn-off of the incandescent lamp due to a difference of thermal expansion. SOLUTION: On the tubular incandescent lamp, both ends of filament 13 housed in an irradiation transmissive bulb 12 are connected to a pair of stick-shaped outer lead wires 181, 182 through a pair of sealing parts 151, 152, and respective outer end part of those outer lead wires 181, 182 are airtightly extended outward from the pair of sealing parts 151, 152 of the bulb, and end parts of the extended parts are electrically connected to a pair of metal terminal plates 191, 192 for mounting those extended parts on the mounting parts. Mounting holes 21, 31 for mounting on the mounting part, and connection parts 22, 32 connecting connectors on which a lead wire 43 for power supply is crimped at one side supplying power to the filament 13 are formed on the metal terminal plates 191, 192. By the above, the metal terminal plate restrains abnormal heat generation at power supply caused by mounting, and the stress generated at the mounting part caused by turn-on and turn-off of the incandescent lamp due to the difference of thermal expansion can be prevented.
