MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording medium which has an excellent coating film smoothness and an electromagnetic conversion characteristic and is excellent in traveling durability. SOLUTION: This is a magnetic recording medium having at least one-magnetic layer in which ferromagnetic powder is dispersed in a binder on a non-magnetic support. It is characterized that a binder contains polyurethane resin having bridged bond alicyclic group hydrocarbon skelton and the magnetic layer including abrading materials which is 30-150 nm of mean particle diameters. The magnetic recording medium has at least one non-magnetic layer in which non-magnetic powder is dispersed in the binder on a non-magnetic support and at least one magnetic layer in which ferromagnetic powder is dispersed in the binder thereon. It is characterized that this binder contains the polyurethane resin comprising the bridged bond alicyclic group hydrocarbon skelton and this magnetic layer includes the abrading materials of which mean particle diameters is 30-150 nm.
