PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin selection device capable of certainly performing selection of a regular coin and a false coin with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This coin selection device has: a coin introduction part having a shape blocking introduction of the false coin of a diameter dimension larger than the regular coin; and a pendulum turnably configured with a prescribed shaft extending a direction orthogonal to an end face of the coin introduced from the coin introduction part as a center. The pendulum has a coin reception part capable of capturing the regular coin inputted from the coin introduction part in an eccentric position. The coin reception part makes the false coin of a diameter dimension smaller than the regular coin pass without stopping, turns the pendulum to one direction by a prescribed angle by weight of the captured regular coin, drops the regular coin from the coin receiver by the turn of the pendulum to lead it to one place, and makes the false coin of the diameter dimension smaller than the regular coin pass through the coin receiver without stopping to lead it to the other place.
