PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display management system and a display system, by which setting of luminance and contrast of many displays to be simultaneously used, etc. is held and each user's changing the settings is prevented. SOLUTION: A display 4 receives a signal for instructing lock of screen display function from a connected terminal PC 3 (or a PC1 for management connected via a network). A control part 12 of the display 4 makes lock information, being developed in a built-in RAM, into a locked state. When a user performs operation for changing the screen display function from an operation part 14, the lock information developed in the built-in RAM is read; and when the lock information is at the locked state, the screen display function is not changed.
